Make Sure You Miss Out On Zero Business Opportunities With this Awesome Marketing Hack

I guarantee anyone who has ever run ads at some point or another has missed out by not using this. It’s a pretty big mistake because it can lead to a lot of missed sales and growth opportunities. 


In the next few minutes, I'm going to show you an extremely useful hack that will make sure you take full advantage of your marketing, so you never miss out on another hidden client.


Let’s get into it.



=If Only Dreams Came True=



Once you’ve helped as many businesses as I have, you start to see recurring patterns everywhere and it plays havoc with your mind. It’s like turning the light on and removing the switch from the wall. You can never switch off.


The specific thing I’m talking about here is that pretty much all business owners think running ads is just running ads. Put them up, forget about them, grab your whiskey, and watch the money roll in. 


Yeah, I’ve had dreams like this too. 


Even after optimization (which we’ll cover in another article very soon), there will still be some potential clients who don’t respond to your ads.

This isn’t something you can instantly see. So because most people simply don’t know they tend not to bother.



=Don’t Lose Out On Profit=



It’s a real shame because there is soooo much lost profit. I’ll give you an example:


We helped a local plumber who was offering a specialist plumbing inspection service for people who suspected they had dodgy plumbing. 


The ad campaign got some really good results. He was over the moon. I called him up a few days later and suggested that we run a re targeting campaign to make sure we found every last client in his area. Although he didn’t think there could possibly be any more customers for him, he decided to give it a shot.


Re targeting is a serious game changer that soooo many companies just don’t do.


For example in this case there were around 30 people who had this issue but didn’t get in touch. 


Why?


Who knows, maybe they were about to get in touch and then their hamster escaped, their kids started scribbling on the walls, or their wife went into labour. Whatever the reason they didn’t go through with it.


We run re targeting campaigns to smash this roadblock by jogging their memory, bringing them back in. Reminding them we’re still here.


Running ads and not re targeting is like going fishing, throwing the net out once, then coming home with the net half full. There’s plenty of fish left that you could have caught, but you’ve missed them.


What makes it even better is that, unlike regular ad campaigns, we know that these people are somewhat interested as they’ve already interacted with the ad in some way. 



=How Exactly Do We Re target?=



There are plenty of ways to do this.

Let’s use Meta for this example.


When you run ads, Meta stores data such as who clicked on the ad, who just scrolled past, and who actually went through with the action. This is done by using a tracking pixel. 


For example:

Say we show the ad to 2000 people. The pixel learns that only 100 clicked on the ad and didn’t quite convert. So we put those 100 people into a group (Also known as a custom audience) and show this ad exclusively to them.


9 times out of 10 it boosts the conversion rate of these people by around 54.7% which is pretty darn good if you ask me. 


For the plumber, it turns out there were 25 extra customers in his area that were ready to buy. That’s 25 clients, 25 payments, and possibly 25 + referrals. 

Now I’m no math genius but that sounds like a lot of missed opportunities for a massive return on investment of his ad spend.


All in all, Take this info and get your re targeting ads out there. The sooner you do, the higher chance of those people turning into clients.
