That’s not really the case.


There’s not a whole lot of things that go into it but it gets messed up anyway.

The reason for this is because most business owners and even marketers just don’t understand what goes into creating a solid offer.


Your product doesn’t even have to be that good to make you a lot of money. That’s why it baffles me that barely anyone in the business world knows this.



Are You Making This Mistake?



The main problem I see no matter the business, industry, or product is that pretty much all of the offers are way too high threshold.

This means that there is too much at stake for the buyer too early in the sales journey.


We can compare this directly to dating.

Imagine, you’re on your way to work, across the street you see the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen.

You sprint across the road and say “Hey I think you’re so beautiful, I’m free next thursday so let’s get married!”

Doesn’t matter if you’ve never dated a woman, you know what she’s going to say. 

“Noooooo” And most likely think you’re a psycho.


It’s the same with selling your product.

I was consulting for a client last week looking at his email outreach because he was having trouble getting replies.

Well, dude was sending emails to people who didn’t have a clue who he was, asking for a 45 minute Zoom call to pitch his product. 45 MINUTES!


Do you really think someone who is trying to juggle their life has 45 minutes to spend on a Zoom call with a total stranger? 



Fix The Problem Boot The Profit



Generally, the more expensive the product, the more trust you have to build with the prospect before you can turn them into a buyer. 

To build this trust and get them to start the process you need to draw them in with a low threshold offer.

It takes virtually no time out of your day and you’re still essentially getting the same info but without having to add another task to your to-do list.


We want to make the offer extremely easy to say yes to. Every second the prospect has to think about taking the offer, the chance of them buying is getting smaller and smaller.

Looking at the scale, having the prospect enter their email address is the lowest threshold response mechanism. This will generally lead to the highest offer uptake.


Texting and calling are also effective ways. Texting will usually yield better results compared to calling as most people would rather text to get information rather than call.



Summary: Make your offer impossible to say no to by making it extremely fast and simple to get the result they want. This will build trust resulting in a purchase. 

Or if the product is more expensive they’ll be happy to move to the next step in the sales process. 


When you can, try using texting instead of calling. And please, in the name of the flying spaghetti monster save the 45 minute zoom calls for later down the line when the prospect actually trusts you and knows who you are. It’ll make things soooooo much easier it’s not even funny.
