Want Unlimited Ad Success? Read This

Started working with a new client recently, let’s call her Chloe. She runs an e-commerce store selling bathroom fittings. Sinks, taps, showers, all that good stuff.


We were working really well together, spending roughly £500 per week on Meta ads.


We were getting a great return on ad spend +/- 2, meaning for every pound She spent she got two back.


Since everything was going so well I proposed the idea of branching out into other avenues to get even more sales.


=The Crucial Error= 


 She wasn’t too keen on the idea, so we carried on as we were.


About a month went by and the results suddenly stopped. 

I wasn’t overly concerned as I thought the ads might have matured quicker than usual.


I logged in to Ads Manager to see what the problem was and it turns out the account had been banned.


There wasn’t any obvious reason for it. All I knew was that it hit the brakes on her sales faster than a racecar hitting the tyre wall.


I’ve helped a fair few people with their marketing and they all seem to make the same mistake.


They always rely on one source of advertising. This is a very bad idea.

=Why One Source?=



There are hundreds of different reasons why people do this. I still haven't discovered them all but when I do, I’m going to class myself as the Indiana Jones of marketing.


The main reason is usually cost.


I’ve used this example in some of my other blogs, you might have seen it.


“Most business owners are willing to spend more on their morning coffee than on their business.”


And when that happens, it makes things so much harder for everyone.



=So, How Do I Get Unlimited Ad Success?=



So back to the story.

You’ll be glad to know that after a week of appeals, I managed to get the account back up and running. 

Turns out that no matter how much you spend it takes a solid effort to be able to talk to an actual human.


After this incident, Chloe decided to try my advice for the next month and expand her marketing.


Her sales went through the roof. And it all ended happily ever after.

(She’s still going strong now.)


So the best way ladies and gentlemen to have unlimited ad success and maximize your return on ad spend is to branch out across as many different advertising channels as possible.


Meta ads working? Spot on.

Running Google Ads.

Making a YouTube channel. 

-

Running email campaigns. 

-

Sending cold emails. 

-

Set up affiliate marketing. 

-

And referral marketing.


You can even go old school.


Let’s post some leaflets.

-

Hand out business cards. 

-

Send direct mail. 

-

Put ads in the newspaper or local magazine.


Think of your marketing as a spider's web. 


The bigger the span, the more likely you are to get attention. And the more attention you have, the more clients you’ll get.
